The Fate of the Humans Existance
In lines 149-161 of the Odyssey Odysseus shares his thoughts on the Human existance. He believes the human race is doomed to a destiny of constant change and tribulations. He also believes that humans state of mind is feeble and when faced with trials that are miniscule in the grand scheme of time we falter. Our problem is that we react to life and wait for it to happen to us instead of us making life happen and things reacting to us. Thats how all successful people are they make things happen and roll with the punches. I agree with Odysseus' statement but I think there are people out there that defy this rule and because they are above everyone else then they are viewed as great.
